Can I cancel anytime? Are there long-term contracts?
There are no long-term contracts. You can schedule your cancellation at any time and you’ll retain access through the end of your current billing period.
-
What are my payment options? Do you support invoices or purchase orders?
We accept most major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and more via a secure checkout powered by Chargebee. We do not currently support payment by invoice or purchase order; billing is through recurring credit card payments.

How do I add my company’s VAT number?
Add or update your VAT number in Billing Details under Company Settings. It will automatically appear on future invoices. View our support article for step-by-step instructions.
-
Do unused credits roll over?
No, unused credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle. All credits reset at the beginning of each new billing period.

When are overage fees billed?
Overage fees are billed immediately when additional credits are consumed beyond your subscription limit. These charges will appear on your next monthly invoice along with your regular subscription fee.
-
Is there a cap on additional credit purchases?

-
How am I billed if I change subscription mid-cycle?
If you upgrade your subscription mid-cycle, you’ll be immediately charged a prorated amount for the difference between your current and new plan for the remainder of the billing period. If you downgrade, the changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and your current subscription will continue until then.
-
Do spend limits include monthly subscription cost?
No, spend limits apply only to additional credits purchased beyond your subscription allotment. Your monthly subscription cost is separate from your spend limit and will always be charged regardless of your spend limit settings.
Models and Usage
-
What models does TeamAI offer?
TeamAI provides access to 20+ leading models across top providers including GPT-5.1, Gemini 3 Pro, and Claude Haiku 4.5. We typically add new models to TeamAI the same week as they are released.
-
Can I limit which AI models my team can use?
- Enterprise: Organization Admins can enable/disable specific models on the Models page in Organization Settings.
- Other plans: You can’t hard-restrict model availability, but you can set a default workspace model and preconfigure models in prompt templates and AI agents.
-
How many credits does each message cost per model?
Your message credits reflect the actual costs from model providers:
Credit costs vary based on the specific AI model you choose to use. Instead of fixed pricing tiers, each model’s credit cost directly reflects what we pay to that model’s provider.
Some models (like Claude Instant or GPT-3.5) cost less per message, while more powerful models (like Claude Opus or GPT-5.2) require more credits due to higher provider rates. For specific pricing details on individual models, please refer to each model provider’s documentation.
-
Do I need my own OpenAI API key (or other provider keys) to use TeamAI?
No. TeamAI connects you to leading models without requiring you to bring or pay for your own API keys. Just sign in and start using models.
-
Do I need ChatGPT Plus ($20/user/month) to use TeamAI?
No. A ChatGPT Plus subscription is not required. TeamAI already provides access to top models in one place.

How can TeamAI connect to our internal systems or third‑party apps?
You can build custom tools to connect TeamAI with your tech stack and data sources. Supported connection types include:
- API
- MCP Server
- Form Collection
- Zapier
- Google Workspace
-
Why does TeamAI respond differently than OpenAI’s ChatGPT to the same prompt?
Even when using the same underlying model, results can differ due to:
- Different default settings (e.g., system prompts, temperature)
- Tooling and context differences (agents, attached data, context window)
- Model/version or parameter updates
Tips to align outputs:
- Click Re-generate Response
- Adjust the prompt or model parameters
- Try a different model if needed
Data, Privacy, and Security
-
Does TeamAI store prompts and responses? How is that data used?
Yes, we store prompts and responses to power features like Prompt Library and Chat Search History. Your data is handled with the following safeguards:
- Per-user storage: Content is associated with the creating user and isn’t exposed without authorization.
- User-controlled sharing: Sharing with teammates is opt-in. You control what’s shared and can change it anytime.
- No training use: Data Hub uploads, prompts, and responses are not used by TeamAI to train models and are not shared with third parties for model training. Our approach prioritizes security, confidentiality, and collaboration while keeping you in control.
